3 weeks and counting...

The countdown has begun.

The announcement I made last Sunday in service is now down to just three weeks away. This is the BIG SUNDAY for our return to CFA with friends, family and special guests. We are calling it "All Together Sunday." It's time to rally the troops after a long summer and bring everyone back into regular worship service attendance. This Sunday will be a very special one...for many reasons:
  • We will gather our congregation back home @ Columbus First Assembly, our Regional Worship Center (10th & Iowa Streets).
  • We will be ministered to from our special guest speaker, Chad Varga. Chad has an amazing story and is thoroughly excited to share God's Word with us on this historic occasion in the life of our church.
  • We will transition to another different time slot on Sunday mornings...10:00 am sharp (after almost 3 months of services @ 12:30 pm, it will be quite the switch!!)
  • We will aim for a high attendance goal of 250 in church on this Sunday...we can do it!
  • We will have many different special surprises and also special guests...you'll just have to wait until Sept.14th to see what I'm talking about!
  • You will get to see the complete rebuilding changes thus far in the sanctuary wing with many different color designs and decorative changes.
  • We will unveil the new architectural drawings for the remaining rebuilding projects on the two remaining buildings of our regional ministry center...totally awesome!
  • We will host our annual Church-Wide Picnic in the afternoon from 3 to 7 pm @ Clifty Park.
  • DON'T MISS THIS WORSHIP SERVICE FOR ANYTHING...it's gonna be an awesome day!

You can see I'm completely stocked about bringing our church family back home to our worship center. There will be some adjustments to make, but with just getthing back home, I'm sure everyone will be just fine and roll with the changes!

Don't forget that we are meeting for our 11th Worship Service in our satellite location tomorrow @ 12:30 pm. Now with only a few remaining services scheduled at this location...let's simply enjoy our time together and worship our great God! God is good all the time!!

Have a wonderful day in church tomorrow. If you are in the area, please come and join us @ Memorial Baptist Church on 7th Street @ 12:30 pm.

Love to all!
