National Day of Prayer @ Columbus City Hall (5.06.10)

Our community gathered on the lawn of City Hall yesterday to call upon God during the National Day of Prayer. The Bible Reading Marathon concluded and the service began at 12 noon. Weather was sunny and beautiful. Participants added such a tremendous depth through prayer and song. God gave us a good crowd to practice the scripture verse found in 2 Chronicles 7:14.

One thing for sure...God was listening and shining His face upon us!

Special thanks to all who attended, to my NDP Task Force members, to the 360 bible readers and 24 captains, to Mayor Fred Armstrong, to the pastors and laypeople who were involved in the service and to those who were listening by radio (thanks to Matt Bond and WYGS for broadcasting on site).

Keep praying for America...land of the free!
