Started the day by taking my kids to school...today I got to take all three...two to East and one to Richards. It's a great connect with my children in the van where we take time for the Word and spend a moment in prayer for our day. Sets us up for victory.
Next it was off to meet Jordon at the automotive shop. We wanted to have his Jeep serviced before he heads back to college tomorrow. Dropped his car off and then took him back home.
I had the privilege of ministering this morning to a family who lost their aunt . Serving others in their time of need is when you stand before the grieving and extend to them true comfort found in God's Word. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." -- Matthew 5:4. Always thrilled to be used by God in touching families with the love and hope found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Thanks Lord for your divine appointment today!
After the funeral dinner (through which our CFA ladies always excel!) I changed and went back to the "command center." Found out that the carpet guys were in for a bit but gone the rest of the day...those carpet install hours must be something like "bankers hours!"
The rest of the day was spent with various duties: picking up kids from school, meeting with the general contractor, talking with my associate pastor who's helping me out tons with advertising and other website issues (have you checked out his new banners on the church website yet?), and then going to Wal Mart to purchase the remaining items for Jordon's new year @ Evangel.
Just a simple reminder that we still need your support for our Flood Fund as we move from day to day in our rebuilding phase. The total amount that we will need to rebuild DEBT FREE is in the neighborhood of $350,000! With that large of an amount many think their small gift doesn't make much of a difference....not true! EVERY GIFT THAT IS GIVEN THROUGH OUR WEBSITE OR SENT TO OUR CHURCH HOME BASE IS MAKING A HUGE DIFFERENCE! Please help us with your gift...thanks so much!

We continue to believe that God makes the impossible possible...but only with Him!
